I've actually debated on doing a podcast compiling ambient music for alt.worship. No, I don't mean debated like I was on a stage talking about it in a forum...I mean I have thought about it.
Someone had a better idea. The Dustcast has compiled tons of links for podcasts that include great music for alternative worship.
I made an hour long "megamix" of sorts of Brian Eno's music for a soundtrack for The Well's Stations of the Cross in March. Then I realized Brian had an album called "Thursday Afternoon". That album is one song. One hour long song. So we used that too and I highly recommend it.

Politipunk Podcast?
So my band, Knapsack Heroes, made a podcast I recently discovered through a vanity search on Google. (Is it a vanity search if I'm looking up my band and not myself?)
Here's the Politipunk Podcast. It's kind of strange--like NPR but with occasional music for no apparent reason.
Thanks Politipunks!
