I received the same gift and will be working stage crew all week. I even got a shiny name badge with the words "All Access" under my name.
Today we set up the bookstore. It felt like a return to my Cokesbury days. Tomorrow I'll return to the convention center at 7:30 am (I never get up that early these days) to load in the stage equipment. I'd like to tell you that I'd be on stage for someone cool like David Crowder... but there's really none of that going on at Emergent this year. I'm excited about a lot of stuff that is happening this year, particularly getting to hear Brian McClaren.View the site here.
