Well, it's on. The first emergent worship gathering at Grace UMC will take place on March 24 at 7 pm. We're getting around the whole "new service" thing by making it the Maundy Thursday service.
Actually, it won't be all that emergent. Or as radically different from other things at Grace as future gatherings may be, but it will definitely turn some heads.
I'm very excited about this. And I'm very freaked 0ut about it. I still don't have the band together and I don't have all the stuff we need. But, it will work out and I've put services together in way less time than this before. In fact, it's what I specialize in.
